[ About the Artist ]

Janelle Riolo is a born and raised New Yorker, whose artistic talents began to show at a very young age.

Whether it be drawing or painting, she has always had a passion for creating.

After earning an academic scholarship to attend Coastal Carolina University, Janelle went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in their Fine Arts program.  After graduating, she made the move to Charleston, South Carolina,  where she began her life as an independent artist.

Supporting herself through several different food and beverage jobs, she managed to paint the whole time, selling a number of pieces  to local Charlestonians.    Her paintings never lack color, and are always of organic, naturally beautiful subjects.

She hopes to continue to grow as an artist in Charleston, bringing color to the lives of an expanding audience.
